What This Service Is
Anonymous Instagram Story Viewer is a free tool that displays and downloads publicly available media from Instagram accounts: Stories, Highlights, Reels and grid posts. It runs in a browser, requires no account, and asks for no credentials.

Public Content Only
The service accesses only content an account has published publicly. It does not access private accounts, direct messages, or anything behind a follow approval, and it provides no mechanism to attempt any of that.
Specifically, the service will not:
- Bypass or attempt to bypass any Instagram privacy setting
- Read content from an account you have not been approved to follow
- Retrieve a story after Instagram has deleted it at the 24-hour mark
- Reveal who has viewed any story, including your own
User Responsibilities
You agree not to use this service to:
- Harass, stalk, intimidate or monitor any individual
- Republish, sell or present someone else's media as your own
- Infringe copyright, trademark or personality rights
- Breach any law that applies to you
- Automate requests, scrape the site, or attempt to disrupt its availability
- Circumvent the per-visitor rate limit
Intellectual Property Rights
Media you download remains the property of whoever created it. Downloading a file grants you no licence to reuse it, and obtaining permission is your responsibility rather than ours.
You may not, without the rights holder's written permission:
- Republish or redistribute downloaded media
- Use it commercially or in advertising
- Present it as your own work
- Modify it and circulate the result
The site's own text, layout, code and design are the property of Anonymous Instagram Story Viewer. Personal, non-commercial reference is fine; wholesale copying is not.
Relationship to Instagram
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected toInstagram (opens in a new tab) or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. and is used here only to describe what this tool does. Using this service may be inconsistent with Instagram's ownTerms of Use (opens in a new tab) and theMeta Community Standards (opens in a new tab), which govern your relationship with Instagram, a matter between you and them.
No Warranty and Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous or error-free availability
- That any particular profile will load
- The accuracy or completeness of anything displayed
- That downloads will succeed on every device or browser
Instagram can change its platform at any time and break this tool without warning. Maintenance, provider outages and rate limiting can also interrupt access.
Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for:
- Loss of data, opportunity or profit arising from use of the service
- Content published by third parties, including anything you view through the tool
- Your use of downloaded media, including any rights claim it attracts
- Device or browser compatibility problems
- Interruptions caused by Instagram, hosting providers or network conditions
Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.
Rate Limits and Fair Use
A per-visitor request limit protects the service for everyone: 20 new profile lookups per 10 minutes, with already-loaded profiles exempt. Circumventing that limit, or generating automated load, may result in your access being blocked.
Takedown Requests
We hold no archive of Instagram media. Public profile data is cached for roughly 10 minutes and expires on its own. If content of yours appears in that cache and you want it cleared:
- Email hello@anonymousinstagramstoryviewer.com with the profile handle.
- Tell us whether you are the account owner or acting on their behalf.
- We clear the entry immediately and confirm by reply.
Making the account private removes it from this tool permanently, without needing our cooperation. Instagram'sHelp Centre (opens in a new tab) covers where that switch lives, and the contact page is the fastest route to us if you would rather we acted first.
Age Requirement
The service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes a consumer right you hold under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
